By Papists baptizing their feasts to the sun.         16; 2 Cor. 11:1-3; 13:15;
The heathen's old bottles were labelled anew -         2 Cor. 6:14; 7:I 
'Tis "Christmas" for Christendom - Babylon's brew.

But which of the sects, headless and cold,     Rom. 12:1-3; Matt. 7:13,14;
Cares to reject the pope-pagan mould?         16:21-27; 2 Tim 3:1-6; Jer. 2:25.
Lutherans and Wesleyans and Calvinists, too,
Join Quakers and "Tonguers" and Christ-hating Jew.

The birthday of Christ - does anyone know?      2 Cor. 5:16-17; Col. 3:1-10;
In God's own Word He never says so!                   2 Tim. 3:1-17; Col. 2:16;
The whole lying mess - false whiskers and date     Gal. 4:8-11; Rev. 17:1-6;
Is adultery that saints will spiritually hate.             Ps. 106:29,35.

Has God been consulted, His pleasure to know?     Heb. 11:6; Rom. 10:17; 14:23;
Authority for Christmas? The Pope made it so!     Heb. 12:2.
Has Satan resigned as "God of this world",             2 Cor. 4:3,4; Eph. 2:1-3.
Or subtly designed contempt to be hurled?

The worship of Christ is Scripturally pure;         Phil. 3:3; Ps. 29:2; Eze. 20:39;
Religious dilution, adultery sure.                                 2 Cor. 2:17; Gal. 2:14; Deut. 4:2;
To please the Lord Jesus, His Word we must heed,     Prov. 5:6; Rev. 22:19; I Sam. 15.:
All borrowing from Babylon' is ungodly greed.                 22,23; Jn. 17:17.

As Babe in the manger and offering for sin         Isa. 53:1-6; in. I:14; 8:23;
Christ was a Stranger to fun-loving men.                 Heb. 9:14; Acts 10:38.
What means this commotion of clergy and clown     Jas. 4:4; 5:I; I Pet. 4:1-5;
In taverns and temples, backwoods and town?             Lu. 16:15; I Tim. 6:9-16.

Hear Herod's grandsons, the Inn-keeper's, too,     Matt. 15:8; 26:47-49; 27:35;
As celebrants now: (Confusing, but true!)                 Acts 20:26,34; I Cor. I:23.
"Let X stand for Christ. We know not His Word.
The 'mas' is fun; the cross is absurd."

"The children will miss it!" Weak parents whine,     Isa. 3:12; Eph. 6:1-4; 2 Tim. I:5;
Instead of declaring: "Not their will, but THINE."         I Tim. 3:1-5; Prov. 29:15;
A child with a father whose godly and strong                     Gen. 18:19.
Is given what's holy; denied but the wrong.

"In Xmas put Christ", sectarians say.     Jn. 20:27,28; Rom. 10:6-9; Acts
An idol of putty is handled that way           2:32-36; Eph. 2:4-10; Acts 7:54-60;
Golgotha's meek Lamb in majesty now all         I Cor. 10:22.
Speaks to His blood-bought. Oh, let us bow!

Believers who worship the glorified Lord           Eph. 4:14-23; I Cor. 10:5-7;
Steadfastly refuse with Rome to accord.                 Lu. 6:43; Gal. 2:20; Titus 2:11-15;
Our life is now ordered by Christ the true Head;     Heb. 10:38; 2 Tim. 4:10; Jer. 44;
Let weak men and cowards consort with the dead.       5:23.
