VERSES OF THANKSGIVING

God’s Word gives us many reasons to regard EVERY DAY
as a day of praise and thanksgiving.

  

Psalm 26:7

“I will publish with the voice

of thanksgiving,

and tell

of all thy wondrous works”

 

Psalm 92:1

“It is a good thing to give thanks

unto the lord,

and to sing praises unto thy name,

O most high.”

 

Psalm 95:1-3

“O come, let us sing unto the Lord:

let us make a joyful noise

to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before His presence

with thanksgiving,

and make a joyful noise unto him with

with Psalms;

for the Lord is a great God,

and a great King above all gods.”

  

Psalm 113:1-3

“Praise ye the Lord.

Praise, O ye servants of the Lord,

praise the Name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord

from this time forth

and forevermore.

From the rising of the sun

unto the going down of the same

the Lord’s name

is to be praised.”

 

Psa. 119:62

“At midnight I will rise to give thanks

unto Thee

because of Thy righteous judgments.

I am a companion of all them that fear Thee,

and of them that keep

Thy precepts.

The earth, O Lord, is full of Thy mercy:

teach me thy statutes.”

 

2 Cor. 9:15

“Thanks be unto God for His

  unspeakable gift.”

 

Psalm 107:8

“Oh that men

would praise the Lord

for His goodness, and for His

wonderful works to the children of men.”

 

Psalm 147

“It is good to sing praises unto our God;

for it is pleasant,

and praise is comely.”

 

 

1 Cor. 15:57-58

“But thanks be to God,

Who giveth us the victory

through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren,

be ye steadfast, unmovable,  always abounding

in the work of the Lord,

forasmuch as ye know

that

your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

 

Ephesians. 5:20

“Giving thanks always for all things

unto God and the Father

in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

 

2 Corinthians 2:14

“Now thanks be unto God Who always

causeth us to triumph in Christ,

and maketh manifest the

Savour of His knowledge by us

in every place.”

  

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3

“We give thanks to God always

for you all,

making mention of you in our prayers,

remembering without ceasing

your work and labour of love,

and the patience of hope

in our Lord Jesus Christ,

in the sight of God

and our Father.”

  

1 Timothy 4:4-5

“For every creature of God is good,

and nothing to be refused,

if it be received with thanksgiving,

for it is sanctified by

by the Word of God and prayer.”

 

Colossians 2:6-7

“As ye have therefore received

Christ Jesus the Lord

so walk ye in Him:

rooted and built up in Him

and stablished in the faith,

as ye have been taught,

abounding therein

with

thanksgiving.”

  

Psalm 116:17

  “I will offer to Thee

the sacrifice of thanksgiving,

and will call upon

the Name of the Lord.”

 

Psalm 118:1

  “O give thanks unto the Lord;

for He is good:

because His mercy

endureth for ever.

 

Psalm 69:30, 32

“I will praise the Name of God

with a song,

and will magnify Him

with thanksgiving.

The humble shall see this,

and be glad

and your heart

shall live

and seek God.”

 

Psalm 100:4-5

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

and into His courts with praise:

be thankful unto Him,

and bless His name.

For the Lord is good; and His

mercy is everlasting;

and His truth endureth to

all generations.”
