CAUGHT AWAY

The first two verses were written by Maurice M Johnson
at the home-going of Bill Hagen's father in December 1953.
The third verse is a chorus he used to sing.

They are gone, they are gone,
All my sins which once enslaved me
Now are gone.

They are gone, they are gone,
For the Lamb of God has borne them,
They are gone.

If today, if today,
We should hear the call from heaven,
"Come away",

Could we say, could we say,
"I am ready now to meet Him,
Now today".

Caught away, caught away,
From this world up into glory
Home to stay.

Caught away, caught away,
Oh we may be any moment
Caught away.
